Collected Considerations 002
An index of inspiration under aesthetic consideration
As you’re reading this, I’m likely somewhere between London and home, probably clutching an overpriced airport snack and wondering how the trip managed to go by so quickly! We had the most wonderful few days away. I’m leaving feeling refreshed, inspired, and immediately plotting my next return.
I’ve been sharing bits and pieces on Instagram, but overall it was a fabulous visit. We stayed at Henry’s Townhouse, which was every bit as charming as I’d hoped. Thoughtful, cozy, and beautifully designed. There were long walks through Kensington Palace, a dreamy day wandering Hampstead and a few home tours, and plenty of gorgeous architectural and artful moments. We wandered our usual favorites and said a quick hi to Big Ben while we drank prosecco on a boat on the Thames. We had several fabulous reservations for dinners, at Carlotta, Bar Jackie, and Lilibet’s. Lunch at The Orangery at Kensington was also a major treat! We saw both Hercules and Paddington on the West End, each delightful in their own way, but Paddington was truly a treasure and I cannot recommend enough. We were so bummed to have had it slightly cut short due to an audience member having a medical emergency… a magical evening nonetheless.
Keeping things quite light and airy today with a fresh Collected Considerations. A gathering of inspiration, lightly annotated and entirely for the pleasure of looking! Enjoy.
